Day 12 NatCroMo Freeform CAL

I have been working all day on a scrumble i wanted to put in my CAL. I wanted to make a mask, and low and behold, the instructions of today included bullion stitches, so all i had to do was to put some in it:)

I dug up my Russian Duplet Magazines, for inspiration. Those magazines are filled with the most exquisite crochet!!! The mask is a combination of Irish motives and bullions.

  1. Your blog is fabulous! :) A real inspiration. Is there any way you could post the design instructions for this mask? I'm a butterflyholic who'd like to use it for that critter.

    Thanx!

    1. I'm sorry, but there is no pattern for the mask.. Most of my work is designed very intuitively, and with tricks, that can hardly be described:)

  2. PS: I like your "Bizzyhands" moniker: that also describes me to a "T"! (Are you by any chance also an INTJ? In which case, you and I might be long-ago separated twins {grin}.)

    1. I had to look up what INTJ means:) i don't think i am one, though in my craft perfectionist, i can validate and admire the ones, who maybe have lesser skills... I love to teach, to 'raise' peers:)
