Siberian express

Still digging into the russian charts. Maybe i just get the hang of it now:)

From Duplet 91 i made this curly motive.

Here is the chart, the problem with this one, was to get the right direction of the curls.

Here is the result, happy with it.

From Duplet there were two more awesome motives, which were fairly easy to make.

And this is the result, i love this pattern!

This is a variation on the same theme, crocheted into a leafpattern.

The green cotton was an obvious choice:)

Duplet 102 had some really nice 3D flowers, this one was the most interesting


The result was less than i expected, it was not as close together as i thought. Still a lovely flower!

In Duplet 94 i found a kind of 'cobweb leaf', a cute motif.

I altered the original pattern heavily, because it was not to my liking!

Here's the finished leaf, i'm very happy with it!

  1. Ik zag ze al op Ravelry en ik vind ze prachtig. Ik zit maar naar het patroon te staren en vraag me steeds af: hoe weet je nou waar je moet beginnen? Bij die groene bloem is het duidelijk maar dit rode motief hierboven? Hier en daar herken ik een steekvolgorde maar daar is het mee gezegd! Je hebt heel wat uit te leggen donderdag!

    1. Lol! Meestal zie je een dikke zwarte stip waar je moet beginnen, in dit patroon was het niet zo duidelijk, maar helemaal bovenin met een ketting van 7 lossen, tot een rondje.

  5. I find myself hung up on the Russian knit & crochet patterns too. As long as a chart, and a good photo are available we can do it:) your flower is beautiful!
